There actually is a men’s movement, and some it’s big issues are removing discrimination against men, such as the male-only draft, and removing cultural biases against men, such as “only men rape and abuse and therefore don’t need help with these things…” We seek to rectify these sexist laws and attitudes.

I think it was pretty obvious that Michael Jackson had something loose in his head. However, I think it’s fair to be a bit sad about it, provided you try and remember him the way he was in the 70’s and 80’s. But people who never knew him balling their eyes out at his star on Hollywood Boulevard? That’s pathetic.

That may be true, but I will always remember my first. While society may not as a whole value mens’ as much, it doesn’t mean we don’t individually. Really, the idea of virginity being important is rather archaic. I suppose it has something to do with dirty old men, though.

Good to hear from you again. I know how you feel about the moving thing. My husband and I, and our daughter of course, are now moving out of our Dundee apartment and back in with his father in this dinky little town out in the country. Not so bad for Felix Rose but madness inducing for me. Hopefully it’s just a short stay while we get our benefits sorted out and find a place in Aberdeen, but it still feels like a step back. Still, that’s what family is for, really – and we’ll be buying our own groceries and paying for electricity. Ewen’s dad wants us to have the master bedroom though, since he doesn’t need as much space – but that would feel very weird, like we’ve taken over his house.

In any case, glad to see you’re still doing well. I look forward to pictures of your various projects.
